We know how important it is that homes are reoccupied as quickly as possible after a tenant has vacated, minimizing expense and financial exposure for the landlord.
This role is crucial to ensure our client’s properties are ready for new tenants without delay and comply with the necessary safety standards. Working closely with our client’s lettings and void repairs teams we carry out the following:
o Conduct photographic pre-void inspections including identifying the presence of any existing hazards such as damp and mould, asbestos, defective sanitation, electrical defects etc
o Draw up a schedule of recommended repairs so orders can be raised for the works inline with the client’s schedule of rates
o Coordinate with the contractors on site
o Perform post void inspections to validate compliance with regulations and standard before the property can be let to new tenants.
o Provide guidance and advice
We have also carried out contract administration of cyclical repairs and refurbishment projects to medium rise residential buildings on behalf of the London Borough of Enfield.
