We act as contract administrators and technical auditors of a partnering contract for servicing, repairs and planned replacements of individual and communal appliances. We also carry out technical audits of new build properties, completed by the SHG’s contractors or third party contractors for 106 Agreements, encompassing the latest building practices, i.e. underfloor heating, micro bore pipes, CHP and biomass boilers etc. In addition we also carry out technical audits of boiler renewals of the Decent Homes contractors and also have led negotiations with several councils pertaining to Listed Buildings. This contract encompasses the whole of the Group’s portfolio of residential properties with gas appliances which are located throughout London, Essex and the South coast. These properties range from low and medium rise flats on estates through to Victorian/Georgian and contemporary street properties, including sheltered accommodation, special needs, shared ownership and leasehold properties all with an eclectic ethnic mix.
